Get To Know Dr. Morgan Taylor

Dr. Morgan Taylor is happiest when her patients are at ease, comfortable, and satisfied with their treatment. She is known for her friendliness, compassion, and empathy, as well as the time she takes to educate her patients. She is committed to giving quality care to every patient she treats.

Dr. Taylor grew up in Athens, GA, and moved to Birmingham where she graduated with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.S. in Biology. While at UAB, she worked part-time as a dental assistant and fell in love with dentistry. Dr. Morgan quickly decided that this was her passion and path for life and went on to continue her studies at UAB School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). 

Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and is a certified Invisalign Provider.

Dr. Taylor is passionate about oral health and the care of her patients. She enjoys interacting with her patients, getting to know them and their families, and creating life-long relationships.

When not at the office, you can find Dr. Taylor spending time with her husband Stephen, and daughter, Aria, where they enjoy attending their local church, spending time outdoors, exercising, and traveling.

What to Expect

At Vestavia Smiles, we do things a little differently – you are part of the family. When you first arrive, you’ll notice our office has a sleek and clean design but with a very warm and inviting atmosphere to help every patient feel at home. Our friendly staff will welcome you and provide detailed steps of your treatment plan each step of the way.  Please never hesitate to let us know if there is anything you need – your comfort is our top concern.

Next, you will be taken back to the treatment room to see the hygienist for a thorough cleaning before Dr. Taylor greets you for a comprehensive exam. She will discuss any oral health concerns you may have and together you will discuss a customized treatment plan that fits your specific needs and budget.

Our new Panoramic X-rays help us obtain images of your entire mouth including your upper and lower jaw giving Dr. Taylor the ability to notice problems such as cysts, fractures, impacted teeth, infections, and more. 

Our new handheld digital X-ray units can be used in the dental chair and are a great option for any patient who may have difficulty with traditional X-rays.  

Not only do we have an incredibly modern office, but we have invested in state-of-the-art equipment used to treat and diagnose our patients – all part of your 5-star treatment plan.
